
2006 SCMA Rising Star singer/songwriter Codie Prevost continues to gain recognition not only in his home province but nationally and internationally. Codie's debut album "The Road Ahead" (2006 SCMA Album of the Year) features the singles "Not Just the Beer Talkin", "The Road Ahead", "He's Not Me", "A Million Miles Away", "Shinin' River" and the latest release "Next Weekend". Influenced by many great artists and various music genres, Codie has created a sound that is uniquely his own. The album "The Road Ahead" is the perfect example of an artist finding his own identity through his songwriting and performance.
This summer Codie will be showcasing in Nashville during the CMA festival at Douglas Corner Café as well as performing as part of the 1st Annual New Country Star Fan Party at the Marriott. He will also be traveling to British Columbia for the first time performing at the Vancouver Island Exhibition in Nanaimo and at Roosters Country Cabaret in Pitt Meadows.
With a quiet confidence and keen ear for memorable melodies his commitment to music is a reflection of Codie's personality.
